Dog Walker Recommendations: Dining With Your Dog in Park Slope

Judging by the number of welcoming restaurants, dining with your dog in Park Slopeis a very popular activity! Here, in alphabetical order, are some of the places that let you invite your dog to dinner. We include the phone numbers so you may call ahead and reserve a table you can share with pup outside.

Athena (718) 965-4578 This family owned restaurant at 535 6th Ave. offers Mediterranean cuisine, including Greek classics as well as "Greek food with a twist".

Burger Village (718) 499-4165 This upscale burger joint at 222 7th Ave. offers all-natural, organic burgers. Try one of their unique options like ostrich, elk, or wild boar. Your dog will thank you when you share the scraps!

High Dive (718)788-0401 Invite some 2-legged friends to bring their 4-legged friends and join you and your dog at 243 5th Ave. for craft beers, buttery popcorn, and lots of board games on the enclosed patio.

Joe's Pizza Of The Village (718) 369-2634 Walk up to the window at 483 5th Ave. and you might need a cart to haul away your order. Whatever else you get, make sure you try a slice of their pizza and wash it down with a slushy. Oh, and make sure you save the pizza crust for your dog!

Scalino (718) 840-5738 This quaint Italian gem at 347 7th Ave. welcomes dogs and eating there is like eating at Grandma's table - or maybe even better. Shhh... Don't tell Nonna we said so!

718-369-9322 Invite your four-footed buddy to dine al fresco with you at this popular Italian eatery at 225 7th Ave. It serves brunch, lunch, and dinner seven days a week.

(718) 768-4329 Located at 321 5th Avenue, this Old World tavern offers a popular outdoor patio area. The bar features a wide variety of craft beers.

Whew! This list should keep you (and your dog) happily fed this summer. Just remember to keep your dog leashed and on his best behavior at all times when dining out. It's also a good idea to call ahead and make sure dogs are still welcome before you and Rover show up to eat!
