Michael Anzovino, Guest Speaker
Mike Anzovino, of the h.o.w. Approach, believes that living a healthy lifestyle starts with a healthy mind and a fit body. His aim as a health and fitness professional is to identify a client’s goals, design a program that fits their needs, and to be with them on the journey, every step of the way. He works with clients that range from those with chronic illnesses, such as MS, to those looking to improve their overall health. Thank you, Mike, for a very interesting talk.
Meeting Notes
Everyone had a great time at our holiday party last Friday night at Peter Pratt’s Inn--thank you Geri for organizing it. We are waiting to hear if Richard won big money from the Lottery Tree--send us a postcard!
We raised $450 from the Lottery Tree Raffle and the Club added $50 to make it an even $500, which Patti and Geri gave to Donna Simone, at Love in Action, to help make up for the money and items stolen from their center a couple of weeks ago.
Our December Community Service Project is next Wednesday, the 20th, from 4 to 7PM. We are helping Yorktown Community Help sort and distribute holiday food and toys. Please contact Patti if you can help anytime between 4 and 7pm (at the Yorktown Community & Cultural Center).
Steve M. and Isabel will discuss January’s community service project.
Our monthly night meeting is Thursday, Dec. 28th, at 5:30pm. Venue to be determined. Please let Patti know if you plan on attending.
Don Peters has been proposed as a new member of the Club. Please contact Geri before next Wednesday, Dec. 20th, if you have any objections to his membership.
Health of the Club
We are not a healthy club. Steve, Helen L., Gloria & Al, Isabel: Get better soon--we miss you!
This and That
Geri won the 50-50 Raffle; the Jackpot is still available.
Happy Hanukkah to everyone!
