Guest Speaker
Kevin Byrne is a member of the NY Legislature; his district (94) covers parts of Putnam and Westchester Counties. His mission is seeing that the public is aware of present issues in the area. Kevin is a member of the Health Committee and feels very strongly about public health. He said that he and his colleagues do not agree about all issues, but that the atmosphere in the legislature is that “they agree to disagree.” The question and answer and discussion period was lively, especially in the area of public health and education.
We are all happy and relieved that the budget has been passed. Thank you Kevin for speaking to us and come again.

The QUAD meeting is scheduled for April 18 at Cortlandt Colonial at 6PM, hosted by the Cortlandt Club. It is $25 each, payable at the door. Please let Patti know if you plan to attend.
St Mary’s Church will be celebrating their 150 anniversary on May 19. We have received an invitation from Heartsong. They will be celebrating their 25th anniversary on May 5 at Coliseum Nightclub.
The Bronx Club will be hosting their President’s Gala at Marina Del Ray on June 21 beginning at 12 noon.

Our guests today were Jolene, who came with Ann, Steve Ucko, from the Northeast Westchester Club, and Diana’s guests Dimetria and Cassandra, both high school seniors who are serving as interns in the Town Clerk’s Office.
Again, Rose won the 50-50 Raffle and received $8. The Jackpot stands at $84.
