Meeting Notes
Alice R. presided and read and passed around several communications. They were from Abilities First, Shelter Box and The Tournament of Rose Parade RI Float Committee. Abilities First is an organization which enriches the lives of children and adults in the community. Diana Q will contact them about a possible speaker. David will handle the formalities of our donation to Shelter Box and The Float Committee encourages all Rotarians to promote the meaning of Rotary as much as possible. There has been a decrease of Polio cases around the world and we need to get the word out about that and other Rotary projects. By the way, the Rotary Float received an award this year!
In a discussion, led by Geri, we talked about enhancing our projects; eg: having a food truck festival at the Best & the Wurst. This will be considered by the Board. We also talked about hosting a golf outing at a local golf course. What is your take on this or do you have ideas to share?
Health of Club
