Guest Speaker
Stacey Petrower, Chief Operating Officer, NY Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital was our speaker today. Over the years, this hospital has become an asset to the community. Stacey told us that it is the only hospital to be affiliated with two teaching hospitals, Columbia and NY Presbyterian. They are expanding their Cancer care, improving the maternity, neurology and other units. The nurses are accredited through the magnet program and this writer can attest to the excellent patient care. Meeting Notes
Alice R. presided and the following matters were discussed:
The Fieldhome Fall Festival will take place on Saturday, September 24 and Geri handed around a sign up sheet for volunteers to work at our table.
The Holiday Party plans remain in progress and Rose has not yet received a response from Panera.
The Carmel Rotary Club is holding a Harvest Fest Dinner on Sept. 30, 4:30 - 8:00PM at George’s Place, Carmel, to honor the Carmel High School Music Department.
The dedication of the Lorraine DeSisto Plaza by the Town of Yorktown will take place on September 22, 1:30PM at the YCC.
It was decided that anyone who brings a Best & the Wurst flyer to the Fest on Saturday will receive a $5. discount.
Health of Club
There have been no reports of illness among the members.

We welcomed the following guests: Eileen who came with speaker, Stacy, Natasha guest of Helen B., Steve from the Northeast Westchester Club and Hermion who accompanied Ann. Good to see you all!
